Chris Mayville, MBA, MSCM
Christopher “Chris” Mayville is the VP and a Board Member of The Gabbie Scheffer Foundation. He provides insight into building and maintaining a culture of philanthropy and establishing direction and priorities for fundraising activities. Chris applies his leadership skills to acquire new donors and further develop current donors while working closely with the executive director and board members to develop strategic plans for the foundation’s advancement. “My primary goal is to assist with the foundation’s ongoing expansion efforts to help as many families as possible!”
About Me
Chris served honorably in the United States Army for 23 years. While on active duty, he completed four combat deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, and North Africa and served in multiple leadership positions, from team leader to platoon sergeant.
He currently serves as the program lead for a special operations supply chain risk management program within the Department of Defense. He is responsible for risk and vulnerability assessments on material acquired for research and development projects.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration (BAPA) from Central Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in entrepreneurship, and a Master in Supply Chain Management (MSCM) from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management.

Chris is inspired daily by his wife Brandi and their two daughters Norah and Evelyn. In his free time he enjoys playing pickle ball and video games.
