Jeanne DuPont, ABM
Jeanne is the Founder, Treasurer, and a Board Member of The Gabbie Scheffer Foundation. She builds and maintains donor relationships, develops fundraising plans, and secures financial support by helping with running special events to assist the foundation in reaching its annual goals. She also manages all accounting functions, including account receivable/payable, general ledger maintenance, and the chart of accounts, while establishing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with best industry practices.
About Me
After losing her daughter on March 8, 2019, due to fentanyl POSIONING, Jeanne decided to turn her pain into something good by founding the foundation to remember and honor her daughter, Gabriella "Gabbie" Scheffer. Jeanne’s drive behind the foundation is to educate the public about mental health, Substance Use Disorders, opioids, and the dangers of fentanyl, a potent synthetic opioid. “I hope to change these stigmatized individuals' lives and give them an opportunity they wouldn’t otherwise have!”

Jeanne earned an Associate's Degree in Business Management (ABM) from Baker College in Jackson, Michigan.

Jeanne enjoys reading, travel, MMA and has a tenacious love for LIVE MUSIC, something she used to share with her daughter Gabbie.
