Skylar Harris
Skylar serves as the Marketing and Events Coordinator, and Board Member for the Gabbie Scheffer Foundation. She is responsible for coordinating all the marketing activities and initiatives of the foundation. She conducts marketing research, carries out promotional campaigns, identifies target audiences and evaluates current trends. Skylar also leads the event planning.
About Me
As one of Gabbie’s best friends, an advocate for substance use awareness, and having a close connection with addiction – I have dedicated the last 4 years of my life to studying the psychology behind substance use, and being a thriving member of The Gabbie Scheffer Foundation. I remember as a child, I encountered a meeting among an addiction therapist. She taught me what addiction was… and at that point I told myself that is what I want to do with my future. I have seen addiction face-to-face with loved ones, I have conquered addiction myself, and I have lost some of my best friends to it. Long story short, The Gabbie Scheffer mission is a part of my heart. Reaching the right audience to bring awareness and resources to those who may struggle, or someone they love struggle. A mask can only cover so much, finding a way to change from the inside out, altering your perspective and habits to reflect peace.
